Summer at home in Düsseldorf
Finally relaxed again in a deckchair drinking a cocktail, enjoying the sunset, listening to chilled music, eating a little something and forgetting the worries of everyday life.
We feel the same way when we set off once again as part of our kukki & friends series to visit some old friends. Today we go to Dusseldorf! And which river flows through here? You probably already guessed it: The Rhine!
So it's not surprising that the Heimatsommer Rheinpark' project is located on its banks. Here we meet Martin, who tells us more about his heart project.

"Once people get a taste for it, they stick with it!"
The Rheinpark is divided into 2 areas. Above is the meadow with the culture stage. With acts like Dieter Nuhr, 'Kassala' or local bands like 'Porno Alforno' to get every laughing muscle and every dance leg moving.
In the lower area there is a holiday feeling. The beach club has everything that makes the heart of every sun worshiper beat faster. Comfortable loungers, a parasol, sand between your toes and cool drinks. Kids who have gotten a craving for a cold ice cream from running in the sun are also taken care of. And how about the cool drinks?
Martin still vaguely remembers the first time he saw us at the Discocontact fair. He kept our card in his pocket and our drinks in mind. Until the beginning of this wonderful project. The concept was there: preferably as little serving as possible in glasses, many bottles so that everything runs quickly and everyone gets their drink as quickly as possible.
