Finally, relax in a deck chair with a cocktail, enjoy the sunset, listen to chill music, have a little snack, and forget the worries of everyday life.

We feel the same way as we once again set out as part of our series kukki & friends to visit some old friends. Today, we are heading to Düsseldorf! And which river flows through here? You probably already guessed it: the Rhine!

So it's no surprise that the project 'Heimatsommer Rheinpark' is located on its banks. Here we meet with Martin, who tells us more about his passion project.

"When people get a taste for it, they stick with it!"

The Rhine Park is divided into 2 areas. At the top is the meadow with the cultural stage. With acts like Dieter Nuhr, 'Kassala' or local bands like 'Porno Alforno' to get every muscle in your face laughing and every leg dancing.

In the lower area, there is a vacation feeling. The beach club has everything that makes the heart of every sunbather beat faster. Comfortable loungers, a sun umbrella, sand between your toes, and cool drinks. There is also provision for kids who have developed a craving for a cold ice cream after running in the sun. And what about the cool drinks?

Martin still vaguely remembers when he first saw us at the Discocontact fair. He kept our card in his pocket and our drinks in mind. Until the start of this wonderful project. The concept was clear: as little serving in glasses as possible, many bottles so that everything runs quickly and everyone gets their drink as soon as possible.
