What is in kukki Cocktail?

kukkiOur cocktails are carefully and lovingly produced, partly by hand, in our cocktail manufactory in Berlin / Wustermark. Only the best ingredients make it into a kukki Cocktail and you can taste that!

kukkiOur cocktails are free from artificial colors and preservatives. With selected, fruity fresh components, kukki cocktails simply taste fantastic and do not require flavor enhancers. Additionally, all our cocktails are free from lactose and gluten. They are also vegan.

How are kukki Cocktails manufactured?

We handle everything ourselves in our own production. With love and partly by hand: from applying the label, to mixing the delicious cocktails, to filling the bottle with ice and fresh fruits.

How long is the shelf life of kukki Cocktails?

Our kukkis have a shelf life of at least 12 months when stored correctly. You can find the expiration date on the bottle. Make sure to maintain the cold chain. After delivery or your purchase, you should store the kukkis immediately in your freezer.

My kukki Cocktails have thawed, what now?

If there is no ice left in your kukki Cocktail before opening, because it has completely thawed, you should not consume it.

Additionally, kukkis must not be refrozen once they are completely thawed, as the bottles could burst.

Are there non-alcoholic kukki Cocktails?

Unfortunately, the implementation of a non-alcoholic cocktail as a kukki is not as straightforward as with alcohol. Currently, there are still no non-alcoholic kukki Cocktails.

May I drink kukki Cocktail?

Due to the alcohol content, kukkis are naturally not suitable for pregnant women, children, and adolescents under 18 years of age. Of course, they are also not suitable for driving – don’t drink & drive! We have decided to make our kukkis available only to those aged 18 and over. This has been our conscious decision, as we believe that cocktails should only be consumed at the age of 18, whether with wine or with spirits.

What is the kukki Toaster?

For the special needs in gastronomy, we have developed the kukki Toaster that prepares a frozen kukki in 30 seconds.

Simply place it in, wait briefly, shake, and serve. Learn more about the installation and setup in our Installation Video.

Connect the toaster

20 seconds = Freezer at -14 degrees
30 seconds = Freezer at -18 degrees (standard)
40 or 50 seconds = Freezer below -20 degrees

Why are kukki Cocktails vegan?

Many juices and wines are not vegan, as animal products are used as technical aids in their production.

For clarifying juice, wine, and similar beverages, animal gelatin is often used to filter the drink. 

Since no gelatin can be detected in the final product, these do not need to be labeled. In our product, the clarification process with gelatin is omitted, which is why we also stand for vegan drinks, completely free of animal aids.

Why don't kukki Cocktail bottles burst?

Our cylindrical ice cubes are produced and frozen using a patented process under high pressure. This allows the ice cubes to be placed in the bottles and then into the freezer. This method enables our kukki Cocktails to be deep-frozen without the bottles bursting.

What length should drinking straws have?

We recommend a length of at least 23 cm so that the straw does not sink into the bottle.

Our original kukki Cocktail glass straws from HALM (Made in Germany), with a length of 27 cm, fit visually and haptically wonderfully with our glass bottles.

Our kukki Cocktail organic straws (Made in Germany), for commercial use, have a length of 25 cm and can also be used for other cold as well as hot beverages.

Why is there no cane sugar in my kukki Caipi ?

Each kukki Caipi is handcrafted with cane sugar. You can no longer see the sugar crystals as well because the crystals lose their brown color due to the acidity of the juices.

How does the preparation in a water bath work?

Thaw for 3-4 minutes in a warm water bath.

Your kukki is ready when the ice is solid and the alcohol is liquid.

Shake the bottle upside down and then open.

How do I prepare many cocktails in a short time?

The trick is that only one person toasts and another person only prepares. This allows for a rhythm to be maintained that enables 120 kukkis to be served in 10 minutes.

Can I thaw kukki Cocktail in the air?

Of course! However, please note that there will be different defrosting times depending on the outside temperature and the temperature of the freezing, which we cannot predict.

If you want to offer many kukki Cocktails at an event, we recommend using our kukki Toaster . You can rent this from one of our  partners, from a wholesaler, or purchase it from us in the Onlineshop .

Are kukki Cocktails still good if they are thawed at the neck?

This is not a big deal, as it is only alcohol that has collected at the neck. You can simply refreeze it. Please note that if the kukki is completely thawed, it should not be refrozen, as this could cause the bottle to burst.

Do I need the kukki Toaster?

For the special needs of the gastronomy sector, we have developed our "Toaster".

Don't worry, you don't necessarily need a kukki Toaster to enjoy our fantastic cocktails.

Is a warm water bath, the microwave, and the sun not hot or fancy enough for you? Then you can treat yourself to the kukki Toaster !

What do I do with the dry ice?

Before the dry ice can be disposed of, it must completely evaporate. This takes about 48 hours.

Place it in an open container. Put this outside or in a very well-ventilated room. After it has evaporated, you can simply dispose of the packaging in the paper recycling.

Note that the dry ice should be stored out of reach of children and animals!

Why is my discount voucher not working?

Delivery

When will I receive my delivery?

We ship from Tuesday to Thursday within 24 - 48 hours. We do not ship one day before public holidays. You will receive a shipping confirmation as soon as the package leaves our warehouse. You can check the shipping status at any time.

Please ensure that someone can accept the package when ordering our cocktails, as it will otherwise be returned to the depot and thaw there.

The order has not arrived, what now?

With your tracking number, you can obtain detailed information from  DPD. It is possible that it was delivered to another person, z.B your neighbor.

If you have granted DPD a delivery authorization, we cannot assist you in this case. You can find more information at the support of  DPD.

The package is not traceable?
Please fill out the legally binding declaration (Download) and send it signed to: support@kukkicocktail.com

We will forward your document to DPD and will get back to you as soon as we receive feedback from DPD. This may take up to 4 weeks.

How does frozen shipping work?

Shipping frozen goods is not entirely straightforward. Our logistics team has developed a procedure to ensure that everything you order from us arrives safely and consistently frozen. Therefore, we only ship during the week. Typically, delivery occurs one day after the shipping confirmation with DPD Food Express.

Our cocktails are carefully hand-packed in our sustainable kukki box with dry ice and Paperfloc insulation material. This is then placed in a sturdy shipping carton. The dry ice ensures a continuous cold chain. Thus, we can guarantee that the goods arrive frozen at your location when shipped.

To maintain this, please place your order directly into the freezer after delivery - not in the refrigerator. The dry ice sublimates during transport, which is completely normal.If there are any remnants upon delivery, handle them with gloves for safety and allow them to evaporate outdoors - please refer to the guidelines regarding dry ice. Once the dry ice has completely evaporated, you can dispose of the empty bags.

Can I adjust the delivery or drop-off location?

You may have the option to adjust your delivery under the DPD tracking or to leave information for the delivery person. Unfortunately, we cannot make these changes for you and cannot guarantee that DPD will offer you these options.

My delivery is damaged, what happens now?

We are very sorry about this and it should not happen. Please fill out our  contact form  with the subject "Inquiry about my order." Please specify what exactly is damaged.

How long will the delivery remain frozen?

When the package is dropped off, the dry ice keeps your delivery frozen for up to 48 hours.

Recycling

How do I dispose of empty kukki Cocktail glass bottles?

The kukki Cocktail glass bottles are single-use bottles that are not subject to a deposit obligation.

We are affiliated with the Landbell Recycling System. This means that the bottle will be placed in a glass recycling container near you and, in most cases, will be processed into a new glass product directly in your region.

Please do not dispose of empty kukki Cocktail bottles in your household waste.

Help protect the environment and find the nearest clear glass container.

How do I dispose of the insulation packaging?

Paperfloc is a sustainable insulating packaging made from recycled waste paper, where the insulation layer consists of cellulose fibers. The paperfloc insulation mats can be disposed of as a whole in paper waste or you can simply use them at your next kukki picnic.
