Beach0741 in Rottweil
Today, we’re heading high above the rooftops of Rottweil, not far from the historic city center. We’re visiting Thomas, who has already combined two successful concepts: a rooftop bar and a beach bar.
Bringing this concept to life took quite a bit of time. Inquiries to the city, appointments with structural engineers, and the question of how to get a container and approximately 22 tons of sand onto a high-rise building.
Beach0741 Rooftop Bar in Rottweil
Thomas – Managing Director
“It’s perfect for up here. You’ve got great cocktails that are quick to make. It’s easy, it’s clean.”

Ultimately, Thomas and his friends were not under any time pressure, as the setup took place while hospitality businesses were not allowed to open during lockdown. So they waited until they were finally allowed to get started, and the response was fantastic. After just two weeks, the bar was the place to be in Rottweil.
There are around 120 deck chairs, as well as a lounge where you can sit back and relax. So there is plenty of space to enjoy a great day with friends and the best possible view.
When asked how Thomas first heard about kukki Cocktails, even we were surprised. Thomas has a close friend who works at a bakery that also offers kukki Cocktails.

"It’s perfect up here. You have fantastic Cocktails that are quick to prepare. It’s easy, it’s clean. When the weather is bad, it’s possible that I won’t sell a single Cocktail up here for a whole week; when the sun is shining, I might sell 100 Cocktails a day."
Guests are also very curious here when they see the toaster glowing and learn what it is all about. The feedback is consistently positive, so it’s no surprise that two kukki Toasters are positioned in the center of the bar.
The day is slowly drawing to a close, which means it’s time for us to call it a day. There’s no better place to switch off than in a beach lounger with sand beneath your feet, a breathtaking view, and an ice-cold Cocktail in your hand. Cheers!
