Beach0741 in Rottweil
Today it goes high above the roofs of Rottweil, not far from the historic city center. We are with Thomas, who has already combined two successful concepts. Rooftop bar and beach bar.
The implementation of this concept took a lot of time. Inquiries to the city, appointments with structural engineers and the question of how to get a container and about 22 tons of sand on a high-rise building.

Ultimately, however, Thomas and his friends were under no time pressure, as the set-up took place when restaurants were not allowed to open during the lockdown. So they waited until they could finally get started and the response was great. After just two weeks, the bar was the place to be in Rottweil.
There are about 120 sun loungers and a lounge to sit and relax. Enough space to enjoy a great day with your friends with the best view.
When asked how Thomas became aware of kukki cocktails, even we were surprised. Thomas has a good friend who works in a bakery that also makes kukkis.
"It's perfect for up here. You have great cocktails that are quick to prepare. It's easy, it's clean. If the weather is bad, I might not sell a cocktail for a week up here when the sun is shining seems I might sell 100 cocktails a day."
The curiosity of the guests is also very high here when they see the glow of the toaster and are told what they are dealing with here. The opinion is consistently good and so it is not surprising that two kukki toasters are placed in the middle of the bar.
The day is slowly coming to an end, which means for us that it is time to call it a day. There's no better place to unwind than on a beach lounger with sand under your feet, stunning views and an ice-cold cocktail in hand. Cheers!
