It was one of those typical Baltic Sea days: sunny, but quite windy. Just the right weather for a visit to the Da Capo Beach Bar in Stralsund – the perfect location for relaxing moments overlooking the water. Located directly in front of the wide sandy beach of the Hotel Neptun , the beach bar is a retreat with chilled beats, cold drinks, and the sound of the sea in your ears.

We meet Holger , who works here regularly. He knows the bar inside and out – and has been there from the beginning:
"The bar has been there for two years now – it's part of the outdoor dining area at Hotel Neptun," he tells us. A place to relax, breathe, and enjoy.

"At first, people were skeptical. But once they've tried it once, they're happy to have two or three," says Holger with a laugh. No wonder – the ice-cold cocktails are ready to enjoy and simply fit the relaxed beach vibe perfectly.

Holger is actually a DJ , regularly playing at events in the region. Here at the bar, however, he enjoys the other side of music: kicking back, and when he needs some peace and quiet, he simply heads over to Denmark.

The Da Capo Beach Bar is open seasonally during the summer months. Along with the Café Panorama, the Sky Bar on the 19th floor, and the Da Capo discotheque, it is one of the hotel's dining highlights and offers exactly what you want on vacation: a relaxed atmosphere, great drinks, and the feeling of being in exactly the right place.
