It was one of those typical Baltic Sea days: sunny, but quite windy. Exactly the right weather for a visit to the Da Capo Beach Bar in Stralsund—the perfect spot for relaxing moments with a view of the water. Located directly in front of the wide sandy beach of the Hotel Neptun, the beach bar is a retreat with chill beats, cold drinks, and the sound of the sea in your ears.

We meet Holger, who regularly works here. He knows the bar inside and out—and has been here from the very beginning:
“The bar has been around for two years now—it’s part of the Hotel Neptun’s outdoor dining area,” he tells us. A place to arrive, take a breath, and enjoy.

Especially popular: our kukki cocktails.
“At first, people were skeptical. But once they’ve tried one, they’re happy to have two or three,” Holger says with a laugh. No wonder—the ice-cold cocktails are ready to enjoy and are simply the perfect match for the relaxed beach vibe.

Holger is actually a DJ—he regularly plays at events in the region. But here at the bar, he enjoys the other side of music: leaning back and relaxing. And when he wants things to be completely quiet, he simply heads over to Denmark.

The Da Capo Beach Bar is open seasonally during the summer months. Along with Café Panorama, the sky bar on the 19th floor, and the Da Capo nightclub, it is one of the highlights of the hotel’s dining and entertainment offerings, providing exactly what you want on vacation: a relaxed atmosphere, great drinks, and the feeling that you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.

Da Capo Club - Warnemünde

Located directly beneath Hotel Neptun, the legendary Da Capo Club is the perfect place for anyone who wants to really turn things up after sunset. From ’80s hits to house, from funk to chart music—here you’ll find whatever puts you in the mood.

Highlight of the week: Ladies’ Night on Tuesdays, with free admission and Prosecco for all women.

Location: In the basement of Hotel Neptun, Seestraße 19, 18119 Warnemünde. The Da Capo Beach Bar is just a one-minute walk away—perfect for a sundowner before heading to the club.
