Cinema

Movieworld in Nördlingen

Hopefully you’re in the mood for popcorn, because today we’re in Bavaria—more precisely, in Nördlingen at the “Movieworld” cinema. The owner, Johannes, is already waiting to show our Andy how his cinema—or, as he affectionately calls it, “Little Hollywood”—works, and above all, how he became one of our friends.

Movieworld - Nördlingen

Johannes - Owner

"They were so good that we said, “We have to incorporate them into our concept!”"

Five or six years ago, Johannes first heard about kukki Cocktail at a cinema trade fair. “Another ready-made Cocktail?” But we give everyone a chance!” And that’s how it all began. First one kukki, then two, and then lots of them—that’s how Johannes tells it with a slight grin. After that, it was no surprise that he and his team also had to offer kukki Cocktails at their cinema in Nördlingen.

Speaking of the cinema in Nördlingen: Andy has a funny story to tell. On a train from Cologne to Amsterdam, he met a woman who asked him what he did. Andy told her about kukki and, of course, wanted to explain what it was right away. She pulled out her phone, showed him a picture, and said, “Of course, I know kukki’s! My friends and I always drink them when we go to the cinema.” You can probably guess which cinema she meant: Exactly—the Movieworld owned by our friend Johannes. A cinema whose reputation extends far beyond Bavaria!

As you can tell throughout the entire interview, Andy is absolutely thrilled because he is getting a behind-the-scenes look at a cinema for the first time. Being the hospitable person he is, Johannes explains everything to him in detail and answers even the smallest questions: How does it work with the films, how much popcorn can you produce, and what is your favorite film?

The fact is: A day at the cinema is and always will be an exciting experience. When you combine it with delicious, ice-cold Cocktails, you create moments that you’ll be happy to remember even on the train from Cologne to Amsterdam. We would like to thank Johannes for his hospitality and hope to enjoy another bag of popcorn, a kukki Cocktail, and an exciting film again soon.

So that we, enriched by a new story, can set off again to visit old and new friends.

We say: Thank you for everything. Cheers to Johannes!
