Happy Döner in Mainz
If Sascha's heart beats for one thing, it is gastronomy. His past clearly shows this. As a former operator of two 1-star restaurants in Stuttgart and as the founder of the brand "Frittenlove," known from the show "Die Höhle der Löwen," he has a keen sense for good food and trends in gastronomy.

"Many temporary workers are also employed here, who handle the cash register, and the recipes are never implemented correctly. If we were to make cocktails ourselves here, it wouldn't work out."
Due to Corona and the lockdowns, Sascha felt the urge to change something in his shop in Mainz. Initially, they switched to burgers, which were well received, but did not align with Sascha's dream. With his passion for "plant-based food," the latest concept emerged after some considerations: "Happy Döner."
Not only are these döner completely vegan, and the meat substitute consists of 100% natural ingredients, but also innovative ingredients are included in the bread (which, of course, comes from a local baker). Wild herb salads, a mint-coriander-parsley mix, smoked cauliflower, or braised pumpkin. There are no limits to creativity. Therefore, it is not surprising that the "Happy Döner" concept is set to grow as a franchise.

"As you can see, this is the kitchen area. If we had to make cocktails here as well; you need mint, all the spirits, the juices, we would never manage that here, just from a space perspective, and also in terms of hygiene or freshness."
