Tonwerk in Dorfen

50 km east of Munich lies Dorfen. There, we are welcomed by Tom and Andi. Together, they began in 2019 to transform the halls of the former roof tile factory into a place of cultural diversity. According to the founders, the Tonwerk Dorfen stands for "extreme diversity at a location with an industrial flair."

"We were relatively quickly convinced because it simply tastes amazing and the quality is very, very great."

The site is divided into 7 areas. In addition to various bar concepts, multifunctional halls, indoor and outdoor beer gardens in industrial design, and a club, there is even an escape room and an off-location for photo shoots! The site offers countless possibilities, and Tom and Andi fully utilize these.

However, the sheer number of locations within the Tonwerk also presents the operators with gastronomic challenges. During a visit to the Hotel Competence Center in Oberschleißheim, two colleagues became aware of kukki Cocktail . They were quickly convinced there.

"Because it simply tastes incredibly cool, the quality is really great. We also know this from the gastronomy with staff shortages. So how can one guarantee consistent quality without much effort?"

The reactions of customers to the toaster are generally a mix of curiosity and skepticism, followed by amazement and a desire for a second kukki.

"The guests are initially puzzled because it's something they haven't seen before, but once they've tried it, everyone understands."

The Tonwerk in Dorfen offers something for every taste. It's no wonder that more and more locations are emerging there over time. As soon as the next project, the club "Heizwerk," is completed, we will definitely pay a visit to our friends Tom and Andi again. There is still so much more to discover in these halls.
