Tonwerk in Dorfen

Dorfen is 50 km east of Munich. Tom and Andi welcome us there. Together they started in 2019 to transform the halls of the former roof tile factory into a place of cultural diversity. According to the founders, the Tonwerk Dorfen stands for "crass variety at a location with an industrial flair".

The site is divided into 7 areas. In addition to various bar concepts, multi-purpose halls, indoor and outdoor beer gardens with an industrial design and a club, there is even an escape room and an off-location for photo shoots! The terrain offers countless possibilities and Tom and Andi make full use of them.

However, the sheer number of locations within the Tonwerk also poses gastronomic challenges for the operators. Two colleagues became aware of kukki Cocktail during a visit to the hotel competence center in Oberschleißheim. There they were very quickly convinced of it.

"Because it tastes super cool and the quality is super awesome. We also know that from the gastro with a lack of staff. So how do you manage to guarantee consistent quality without great effort?”

Customer reactions to the toaster are usually a mixture of curiosity and skepticism, followed by astonishment and the desire for a second kukki.

"The guests are surprised at first, because you don't know it like that, but after you've drunk it, everyone understands it."

The Tonwerk in Dorfen offers something for every taste. So it's no wonder that more and more locations are springing up there over the course of time. As soon as the next project, the "Heizwerk" club, is completed, we will definitely pay our friends Tom and Andi a visit again. There is a lot more to discover in these halls.
