Our frozen shipping – how it works:
Have you never ordered frozen drinks before and are wondering how it all works? It’s actually quite simple: We hand-pack your kukkis in a box with insulating material and dry ice. This ensures that they don’t thaw during transport. We also only ship during the week, so your package arrives as quickly as possible.
Once you have received your kukki Box, the bottles must be stored properly – either in the freezer or in the deep freezer. A normal refrigerator is not sufficient, because if the kukkis thaw before serving, they will no longer be fit for consumption. So it’s best to make sure when ordering that you have enough space to store all the bottles in the freezer or deep freezer. If they are only slightly thawed around the neck, that’s not a problem. In this case, you can simply store them frozen and let them thaw completely when you want to drink or serve them.
Any dry ice left in the box can simply be placed in a container and taken outdoors or put in a well-ventilated room. It will evaporate within about 48 hours.
